Cyl OD is 2 1/2 inches and the width of the opening is 3 inches. I hooked the tab of the tape on the outer edge of the perimeter flange. From the outer wall of the flange to the far edge of the opening is 3 3/4 inches.

Hard to measure these things with all the hardware in the way. The upper bolt on the rock shaft holder is just above the side mounting hole. The nuts on the back side almost hit. Just a bit of clearance that I can feel with my finger.

Not sure what you mean by hutch plate?

The bolt below the cylinder is smaller than the upper bolts.

Jeff,

I need the distance from outside to outside of the outside lift arms on your rock shaft to correctly place the holes for the two hangers I made you earlier. Easy enough to get, just stretch a tape across them.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
