I have not seen any Issue with MTD giving any problems during there warranty Period They really do mean Unlimited Hrs and 3 or 4 Year warranties The Other Nice thing something Cub Cadet and Deere share In common is they Both warranty Frame, Transmission and engine Under one warranty Many other companies May have a separate warranties for the Transmission or engine or both outside of there Machine warranty Husqvarna is Notorious for doing that

Yeah, and CC offers even longer on many of their deck shells (often limited lifetime). Granted Husqvarna does similar.

Husqvarna does not back their warranty, a Lifelong friend I grew up with is a regional VP of the US Husqvarna Territory men He started with Roper Back In the day as a Territory rep. And was Kept for AYP and Now HOP If He wasn't so close to retirement, He would tell Husqvarna where to stick it. As there is an Unwritten Push on the Territory reps to find ways to find fault On the customer for Issues and Not HOP. So I find there 3-Year warranty to be iffy on their Machines or there Limited Lifetime deck warranties

My GTX2154LE is basically the same machine I believe.
It has been sidelined now for over a year due to wiring issues and the wire harness is, you guessed it, NLA!

Seems the LE is a bit different in some way and I have not had the time or desire to dig into it.

Just affects the PTO and mower so it can still be used to pull stuff but that's about it.

But...The GYX2154 I picked up for a song last year has been filling the gap admirably!!
Some may recall that is the Cub with the overfilled oil sump due to a wrong dipstick tube fiasco.

Only difference between your tractor & the XT3 GSX is No Diff/lock and the seat and wiring harness are different for the LE series, due to that Gel seat safety switch.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
