2023 SPRING PLOW DAY - Tennessee

Hey all!

Just wanted to put the OCC group on notice.

(Should we all be able to still afford petroleum products…)

…A spring 2023 plow day is currently in the works. Not many details available at the moment, but we should have everything lined out before end of this year.

What I can tell you is that the location will be just south of Nashville, TN. Hope to have overnight camping available on site for the early birds on Friday. This event is open to all makes and models of garden tractors.

Please feel free to post any immediate questions on this thread, or DM me. I will try to respond in a timely manner. Additionally, we welcome any suggestions and/or ideas that would help make this event the most enjoyable for everyone!

I will continue to update this thread as information becomes available.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
