I don’t think anyone makes a replacement for the rear pto clutch. I thought I once heard that a QL clutch could be used but you would need to reuse the double pulley. (I don’t know if this is true)

If it’s burned up, I think you might be SOL. I change all the bearings in the complete assembly when I put mine on but that’s probably not necessary.

The original Rear PTO was #717-3024. In checking with Cub Cadet, it seems it is NLA. I checked with Xtreme PTO Clutches, and they do not make a replacement.
So, unless one finds a good Used one or finds a NOS, is the best one can do. As far as repair, the bearing can be replaced. The 759-3506 Coil is NLA also. Thus, it might be a challenge to get going.

So what I'm hearing is if you see one for sale, in nearly any condition, buy it just in case.
On what other CC models is that PTO clutch equipment for? I ask so I'll keep an eye out for people parting those models out. |

The above Rear PTO Clutch was only used on IH built SGT's (982, 984, 986, 1912, & 1914),with the Cast Iron rear end.

So the clutch changed as well once CCC started making them? I thought the only difference was the diff cover plate.
