Default Drive shaft to Pump

The shaft from the pump is showing a lengthy spline. Is this normal or is something amiss. Picture attached. Thanks for looking and have a great day

I would check and see if the retaining spirol pin has failed if the tractor is a pre cyclops tractor or if it's a cyclops has the retaining bolt backed out.

Default Driveshaft

Sam, the tractor is a cyclops 1862. It looked like it is held by 4 bolts at front of drive shaft. I am going by memory of a couple days ago so it may be incorrect.
I will have to go down in the garage tomorrow and have another look. Thank you for responding and have a great day.

You will need to remove the 4 allen head bolts that hold the CV joint together #7 and then you can get to the bolt that holds the pump adapter on the pump input shaft #11 circled in red
