Make Drive Shaft Flex Coupling
Has anyone made drive shaft flex couplings? If so where did you get the material? New ones are about $21 each and up. It sure look like with a jig saw and a drill they would be easy enough to make. Thanks for any suggestions.

The flex disc joints could be made using an old tractor/big truck tire.
But why? the original ones last 30-40 years. So if you replace them with factory new, they prolly will be good when you are gone or no longer have the tractor. Just my thought.

Something to keep in mind, the new ones are a different thickness so you will need to plan for that.
