You can find the manual here: http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/Public.do

for Model Number: Use 1903 don't use the full model number as the search will not find it.
For serial numbers, use 8 numbers, like 11111111
Scroll down till you find 190304100 it will be Manual 772-9033a when downloaded.

The hydraulic tiller that replaced it was only 30-inch I had either option when I bought my 2206, and I went with the 30-inch Hydraulic which MTD had just introduced at the time. The 30 utilized the sleeve hitch frame, while the 28-inch used a frame that slid into the frame rails. I think the 28-inch design would actually fit on the Late 2000 and XT3 series due to its rail-mount design. I actually like smaller tractor-mounted tillers myself because you can do some nice cultivating with them if you space your rows right.

From his original post....
"but I can’t find anything about it online other than parts diagrams. No actual pictures of it or how it mounts/works with the tractor. Does anyone know anything about it or have pictures of how it mounts and gets power, as these tractors only have front PTO, not rear?"

So, click this link....
https://www.ccpartsnmore.com/cub-cadet-service-manuals

Scroll down to CUB Cadet Series 2000 Service Manuals....

Click the left block (1994 to 1999)

View Section 7-5....28 inch rear mounted tiller (190-304)

The Manual for the tiller show how it Mount to the Tractor But here what it Looks Like Mounted with electric actuator
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd787rxLajk
Belt run from Front PTO under tractor to Tiller In rear almost Like the Old IH 1 or 2 Tillers The tiller Mounts In the Tractor frame Just Like the Rear/Front weight bracket Mounts

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
