2185
Hi all It's been awhile. Have had to move back to Maine. All the projects I had going in Tenn. are now gone. I have picked up cheap (free) 2185. This maybe a dumb question, but can the hydros on these, be ported for external hydraulics?

The 2185 had three (3) production runs. All three used a Hydro Gear Transmission. I have no knowledge that the Hydro Gear offered any type of option of an auxiliary circuit.

Go to the Hydro-Gear site and download the manual , that should correctly answer your questions

According to the 2185 Service Manual, the hydro in the 2185 is a HydroGear BDU-10.
According to the service manual for the HydroGear BDU-10, and option for auxiliary circuits would be the BDU-21 hydro. So at minimum, you would have to change the hydro.

I'm just going to toss this out as a "Maybe", I'm thinking you may be able to cross breed your hydro with one out of a 1641. The 1641 has aux hydraulics. This is the back side of a 1641 hydro.

Thanks for the info Ironman, Sam. Sad to say but all my on going projects gettin scrapped. We just got some bad news on my wife. Cancer. At this point Ain't looking good.
