Default Is 982 deck subframe different than 782

Is the "undercarriage " or subframe, the assembly that the deck hangs on, is the super GT's different than non SGT's. I tried to put the mule drive and the undercarriage off of a non super on my 982 today and could not get it on. Any help appreciated.

It shouldn't be different, but you do have to change the mounting point on the front where the hanger connects to the mule drive. There are several holes there, you want it on the one all the way at the end for the super frames. There are pictures around here somewhere of that... I remember seeing them. I might have even asked the question years ago, I cannot remember now.

Sorner is correct. The super uses the end holes, that point, to the rear of the tractor. I can get you a picture when it is daylight.
