XT2 SLX50 will not start
Have a 2019 XT2 SLX50 with the 679CC EFI engine. Model # is 13AZA2CZ010
Serviced it a month ago and mowed afterward. Everything was fine. Ran like it always has. As I was having a hip replacement, I had everything ready for the Wife to mow while I recuperated. She goes out a week later and it will not start. Turns over as always. Finally got it into my shop and it has no spark. Checked all the switches and they seem fine. Cannot find anything that may be obviously wrong. Any help would be appreciated, as I cannot even load it to take it to be repaired. I can hobble around in the shop and check things on it. Thanks, DH |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
