Default 421 U 1113: Source for oil seals?

Hello all, finally getting around to restoring the deck for my 147. I did search, hopefully I was thorough enough. Does anyone have a source for the oil seals (6 required)? NAPA lists one as industrial non vehicle specific, but maybe someone has found a better option under a different PN that is more easily available over the counter and cheaper?

The PN I am working from is 530484 which doesn't lead to anything on RockAuto.

Thanks.

Edit: Went through the NAPA checkout page and they want me to pop for $20 shipping, so $50 bills for 2 seals........

I ordered the 6 oil seals for my 421u1113 right from a local Cub cadet dealer that was less than a 3 minute drive away. They still sell the seals, part was IH-473428-r92 my local dealer charged me $13.99 each. One thing I’m not 100% on tho is if the 2 possible spindle styles use the same oil seals? Mine have replaceable oil seals and bearings.

Ok, thanks for that info. Luckily on two of the 3 spindles the seals feel like brand new so I'm just rebuilding one. Also glad this deck has the relatively cheap automotive type bearings/races.

your lucky with those, i tried to go to napa to get new seals for my 70's deck and the 3/4 in seals i needed would have to came from 6 different stores and they wanted to charge me $20 shipping for each piece
As an aside do you need new shaft spacers that the seal rides against? I found an ebay seller that has stainless steel ones that I'm replacing the pitted and worn ones with. they even did a custom size for the ones I needed

Thanks for the NAPA info. The main local NAPA distribution hub is not far from me and they don't even list the NOS 530484. I found an industrial supply source online at around $8 each. The order is still pending, we'll see if it actually ships.

Oh I totally spaced, the shaft is 3/4 but the spacers bring it up to 1 inch so thats probably the same seal i needed. I had a mix of the original IH marked part numbers and skf seals on the 2 decks

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
