International Cub, probably from the late 60s to early 70s with that front end. Same thing as a Farmall Cub, but they only used the Farmall name on the red ones.

Often mis-identified as a Cub Cadet simply because of the color. I've even seen them advertised that way. Called the "square nose" Cub and produced from 1963 to 1979.

So it's an IH Cub? Is it worth anything?

Yes, it's an IH Cub. In decent running condition similar to that, and in some markets, about $1000-$1500. In other markets I've seen them go $1800-$2500. If it had a Fast Hitch instead of a drawbar it would go for more. On the other hand it does have rear wheel weights. A lot depends on finding the right buyer at the right time.

Here's an example, way overpriced IMO.

I would agree. This one is coming up for auction on highbid next month.
Benz Enterprises Auctions & Antiques. I thought about bidding on it and they are close by, but I just have way to many things to do. Hopefully someone here can grab it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
