Got the tractors out for a bit
I thought I'd share a photo of my Cub Cadets. I also added a photo of my John Deeres. Actually, the X300 is a friend of mine that is storing it at my shop. It's fun to compare the JDs vs Cubs. Although the only real direct comparison would be the 1527 and the X300.

Cub Cadets and Deeres out for a bit
This is generally a drab time of year, so it is good to start up those engines and add a little "greenery" for the Christmas season!
Much like you, I own Cubs and Deeres and I enjoy them all for what they do and how they look! Thanks for the show! Merry Christmas! Ho! Ho! Ho! |

I am Not a brand-specific person, per say. The walls may say something different. But I have More Cubs than Deere's. Here is my latest and Last Cub acquisition, I have a Cub from every decade and then some, except for the 1980s. I just don't have the room for more Tractors if I want Inside room to work On them

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
