Cub 782 Kt17 Series II Fuel Starvation when Hot??
I have a nice Cub 782 Series II that starts and runs fine mowing for about 15-20 minutes and then suddenly seems to die unless heavy choke....fuel starvation?? I replaced the fuel line between pump and carb, It seems to have plenty of fuel in the see thru filter just before the pump. Gas will gush out of the pump with the line disconnected after the pump (when cold, seemed unsafe to try when hot). Anyone have experience with heat sensitive fuel pumps or other ideas???

It could be your fuel cap is not vented and causes the starvation. Loosen the cap and see if that solves your problem.
You could also have an ignition coil problem. I'm not sure what engine you have but if the above fix doesn't solve your issue that's where I'd look next.

I would ensure the points and condenser are quality OEM units adjusted to spec. Then I would look at the coil. Sounds like a heat related failure. The fuel cap is an easy check.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
