ZT1 Ultima
I have a 2020 ZT1 42inch deck, My blade pto clutch wouldn't engage, so I noticed it wasn't getting any power, initial inspection I thought the wiring was broke due to wear / vibration against the metal frame where it goes from topside thru the frame to the bottom. I rewired it, not realizing when I engage the pto, the actually clutch is freely spinning, pulling on the wiring. I had done a mow, came back and realized it would not engage, this time the wiring was shreaded. I believe I had a clutch stop break / fall off (that braces the clutch), but I am not seeing any diagrams when I search for this.. When I pull up the model number for parts, I do see a clutch stop bracket but I haven't found any photos or diagrams for this. Would appreciate any help!

Here's what I found from the "look up box" above. Does this look like what you're missing?

Thanks for your help and getting back to me. I believe that is the correct parts. I had pulled up my serial number and the only part that had come up when I searched was Item # 2 in the diagram. I will go back and see if I can find the other part and the fittings. Upon looking under the deck of the mower, I still do not really see where this exactly goes. I see a small sheared piece of metal that is threaded to the backside of the right hydro pump. So hopefully I can run across a diagram or photo that shows it in place.
Thanks for your time! |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
