First mow CC30H traction
Hello all,
Today was my first use for my new '23 CC30H + I love it. BUT, noticed the lame one wheel traction + wondering if there's a cure like snowblowers etc, that locks both rear driving wheels!! I learned there's NO oil filter + looking for a fuel shutoff as info varies as do videos of different years of production. I have used the girlfriend's 2014 LTX1040 + can say the hydro is worth the extra $$. |

You could add rear chains, fill the tires with RV antifreeze, or change the tires altogether to much more aggressive tread pattern. Aside from that, not much can be done to assist traction.

doing well!!
second year with my CC30H + its performing well, goes up hills with front counterweight better than advertised IMO. got the extension hose for clean eze oil changes, wish it had a filter!! only issue is backing up requiring disengaging the blades but it will drift back a little + sometimes allow using the reverse pedal LIGHTLY!! very pleased overall as i know NANNIES are more common with newer equipment, thank you NOT to our government!!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
