Good observation, and it doesn't look like filling the gas tank would be fun either,
plus no hydraulic lift if yer gonna plow snow.
But if your only looking for a cab.....

the cab is a cyclops cab. I have the same one on my 2182. the windshield tilts to allow access under the hood- or in this Frankenstein, allows you to put gas in it.

Says new tires. 3 of the 4 are original CCC tread pattern. One front tire is a cheap replacement.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
