Default NC: 123's for sale - Two=> $425

I have two cub 123's for sale for total price of $425. Included is one mule drive and one deck (ratty but cuts!) and one good battery (1 yr old)

Operating condition:

* The one with the black seat ran fine last week, would not run this week. I will have it fixed and running as I'm sure it's a fuel problem. I moved the 2nd cub with this one 3 weeks ago. Engine has been swapped to one that is strong, no knocks, etc but burns a little oil,....not bad. I mowed with this one for several years before I got my Diesel with an engine that burned quite a bit more oil . Hydro is good, linkage could use some adjustment to balance out hydro/brake function, but works as is. Has new LED headlights and a new wiring harness.

* The white seat one I got to fire by squirting gas down the carb and cranking it . It'll need the normal 60 yr old cub fuel system cleaning but it runs. I've driven this one too, and it smokes a very little as well, but is certainly usable as is once the fuel system is cleaned up. Has the unusual white foamy seat in good shape .

Neither of these are show tractors, however they're not junk either. I'm getting ready to move and I don't want to move these extra cubs.

I've owned the first one for ~13 yrs or so... it's the one in my avatar.

I've probably forgotten stuff, so please ask if you have questions or need more pictures. I'll help you load these onto your trailer.

I live near the Raleigh NC area, about 8 miles west of I95, and would like to get these into good homes. As you can tell, I'm not trying to fund my retirement with the proceeds :-)

I'll leave this ad on OCC only for a week or so before posting elsewhere. There's good folks here!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
