No Spark
Hello Everyone! I'm putting a 25 Kohler Command in my Cub. I got new Kohler Coils on it, new oil sensor, all new wiring, new spark plugs, and new ignition switch. My problem is I'm getting power to the plugs but not spark at the plugs. I used a spark plug tester and getting power in that but none at the plugI have ground wires from the starter to the frame and a ground from the battery to the frame. Hoping it's something I missed cause I dread pulling the motor again!!! Thanks for any help! Bill

Hello! It is a bunch of odds and ends I'm making into a puller, 82 line, a friend was going to scrap them but like any Cub Guy I said I'll take em! LOL!!!

Those engines had a spark advance module system. Are you using the correct, for that engine, coils or just some spare coils from another Command?

Ok! Thanks Alot! As for Quiet Lines, I got my Dad's 1650 he bought new and it's rough but I'm retiring soon and that's my first project!!!

I'm pretty sure if you remove the SAM unit you need to replace the flywheel with the correct one because the magnets are in a different location. Kohler makes a kit to do that. If your engine originally had the SAM.
