XT2 LX46 fuel injection throttle cable
Hi
this is my first post, Ive owned my LX46 for almost 3years . The throttle cable was binding , would not go to high engine speed. Replaced the throttle cable with a factory part, it worked for a 1/2 hour then would not go to high engine speed, binding again. I can take pliers and move the linkage to go too high speed. this is the fuel injected engine. Thank you for the help!

I am having the same exact problem. It’s almost as if the throttle cable does not have enough power to push the flange all the way out. I tried every configuration of springs and butterfly holes and screw adjustments. Only works if you push it far enough for main spring to lock into place.
Does any one have a diagram of the throttle flange area? I can not locate one anywhere to ensure all springs are correct. Could the springs be bad, even if they can hold tension when pushed to full throttle??
