Default GT 2100 -> Damaged fuse
Hello.

In the fuse box, someone can describe me or refer me to a WEB link to find out the reference of each fuse. I am making this request because a 30 fuse has been damaged, seems to have heated up. What can be the cause of damage ?

Dirty and/or corroded terminals or wiring in general.
Cruddy wires & such causes high resistance and related heat.
Plastic does not like heat.

Agree totally, corrosion is not your friend.
If you are asking, those fuses are auto parts store items.

I need Lucy to splain to me...
high current causes heat....heat melts plastic
corrosion causes high resistance.....
high resistance reduces current....
how do corrosion make fuse melt???

Corrosion allows arcing, and that makes heat.
Just like a loose Bat- tree terminal.

I would think that added resistance causes more heat.
