When you say it is hard to turn what exactly are you talking about.
When I read hard to turn I think of turning radius. But then you adjusted valves? Are we talking about the engine turning over? A whole bunch of more info will help folks here at least try to help. Let us know. Ken |

I am thinking zero turns have hydra motors maybe he is saying he adjusted
'the linkage a little so it turns properly??? if he was talking about trying to start the motor he would say it is not cranking properly or it won't start like the battery is low. or he checked the cables, voltage, and condition of the battery? who knows looks like he is new so maybe a young kid, Possible a one and done. |

I think OP's chief complaint is the the engine turning over when starting. Which has me thinking about the battery and starting system as well as charging system.

I agree with that but it ain't gonna charge until it starts so we'll just have to wait until he comes back and tells us if the battery is any good.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
