I have not brought home the sweet finds like you! But I did rescue a 800 one time! Got to a yard one day too late...seen a early 110,210,318 JD's,MF 12 and a few WF Cubs that I could not see what models they were...CRUSHED! Some tractors were a tornado victim.

Sounds like all that's left at the scrap yards is a few cans...for just picking up a few things it sounds like you have acquired a nice collection

Default Another Salvage Find

Removed this Grote light from a dead 154 LoBoy. I was looking for a drive shaft for a 154 but the spline was eat up. Gave $5 for the light, media blasted, paint, new lens, hardware, rubber bushing plus bulb.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
