782 gear shift swap
Can anyone tell me what is all needed and where I can get the parts to swap my 782 to a gear shift trans? Also is there any difference in the wide and narrow frame gear shift transmissions? I have a trans out of a 100 but I guess I have never looked to see if they are different. I no longer have a gear shift trans to compare the two. Help please?

This is a major operation.........You'd be money and a lot of headaches ahead by trading your 782 or just buying a gear drive cub.

I had to relocate and drill new mounting holes to Instal my 4spd. transmision that I bouilt for pulling. It was a pain to do. but it can be done. Also you will have to find a clutch hanger from a 582 and the lever that goes on the clutch arm.
