KYTC plowday
There's a 3rd annual plowday scheduled for March 19th in Georgetown, KY. Here's the website for more details as they become available. It's a fairly small field so I don't know how far someone would want to drive. Maybe 10 to 15 acres? I think last year we had about 10 of us. The field belongs to David's (runs the website) dad so questions can be directed to David.

I think all the tractors did pretty well. We had a bush hog garden tractor that had some problems with the hydro and a JD that ran out of gas. The ground could have been a little bit dryer but it was still easy to plow.
DX3 you should have come I would have let you plow some with mine. There's one in Vevay, IN on April 16th. It's right on the river. You should come if you have MY 782 ready by then. If not you could always ride with me. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
