Default Donation FAQ

Q: Why should I donate money?

A: You should only donate money if you really want to. All of the donated money received will be used to pay for website expenses, such as more web-space when needed, bandwidth, and other server upgrades to support future additions.

Q: How do I donate to your site?

A: All donations are handled through Paypal. Near the top of the page is a Donate button for you to click. This will bring you to the secure Paypal donation page, where you can either log in with a Paypal account, or make a new one to donate with. After sending in your donation, I will receive a notification of your contribution, and you will receive a receipt from Paypal.

Q: How much money should I donate?

A: The amount of money you donate is completely up to you! Any size contribution is welcome, no matter how small it may seem. Remember, all those "small" donations will add up after time. No matter the size of your contribution, it will be greatly appreciated.

Q: What will I get from contributing?

A: OnlyCubCadets is a small website that offers all sorts of info about Cub Cadets! By contributing, you know that you've helped the site to grow and keep the community alive.

Q: I don't live in the U.S. - can I still donate?

A: Of course! Since donations are handled through Paypal, visitors from all over the world can donate! Paypal accepts contributions from many countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and China, just to name a few.

Q: Why do you need donations? Is the site closing down?

A: No, the site isn't closing down. This page isn't to "save the site" in so many words, but to ask folks to help contribute to the site. If you like this site, the guides, and you want to help out, this is the best way.

Q: Paypal Friends & Family, Cash App and credit cards are now options for paying...is there another option for donating?

A: If you would rather mail a check or money order, email us at digger@ccspecialties.org and we'll give you the details.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
