Nice congrats I've been looking for both of those for awhile now. You'll love them both.

I knew the rain was coming so I was able to get the yard mowed, and sure enough, with four laps left to go it was raining. Not too bad of timing. LOL

I was able to get my flywheel cleaned up and painted today also. You can see rain drops on the back side...

Here is a pic of the Sand Blaster and Parts Washer

And my head all cleaned up using the sand blaster and glass beads:

And a bag of Black Diamond waiting to be used:

I picked up the new steering parts for the 682 today, and ordered a thrust bearing for the lower end. I noticed a 1810 in his lot, along with a well used IH build 782. So I just had to go snoop....I just may have found me a QL 1250 too boot. He's a bit steep on the price, but overall it may not be that bad.. I have some time to ponder it. The wife said "don't even think of bringing home a tractor" so I left it for another day....

Got home from work today and decided to start rolling the yard. Went down to the shed and fired up the 1050. It hadn't been started in a year. Fired up after about 10 seconds!
Took couple pictures of it earning its keep!

Awesome pictures Junior. I love that trailer. Looks like an add for IH literature.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
