Default 1450 pto to tiller belt clarification

Like to take the time to say hello to all you cub owners,i have a 1450 cub with the last 6 numbers in serial #579563,so i believe she is a 1976.I have a #2 tiller that came with it,if i have done my homework correct,i believe the pto to the tiller drive attachement on the back of the tractor is part #IH-61959-CI,which would be 7/16 by 145.5" long,If someone could take the time to let me know if I'm correct before ordering,i would be vary thankfull, thank you

Here's the link to the belt chart in the tech section of the site. And from the looks of it you've done your homework and have selected the correct belt! If your local cub dealer can't get it for you please use one of our fine site sponsers. I simple call or email will get your order placed.

I would love to see pics of your 1450!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
