He's right. The plunger likes to stick in the valve body. Some oil or PB blaster and a couple of taps with a hammer and you should be back in business.

Wow the find of the year so far !!! Very nice. Haven't come across a deal like that since I found a Robby Space Patrol for 95 bucks. The valve will free up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
