fuel pump

Hi. has anyone experienced a fuel pump issue on a mangum 14 two cylinder? My issue only appears after the engine is shut off and heat soakes for 5-10 minutes. It will restart but then sputter and die. It will restart using the choke, push choke in and will run fine until I shut it off. Why would this happen only in a warmed up engine? If the fuel pump was bad wouldn't this condition always be present, not just after heat soaking for severl minutes? thanks

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
