Flip-a-cub
I found this CC LT for $350. Is it worth buying, giving a good clean up and tune up (change transmission oil which I'm sure never gets done, etc.) and flip for more? How much are these worth in MI? I was thinking maybe $500. It looks pretty good in the pics.

One of my neighbors sold a ' yard machine' for 1000.00 . It is a possible thought. just be sure that everything works as you say that it will, or the buyer will come way down on the price expecting more lies and sales pitches... in other words, to make it worth an easy 500 may cost you...

I would think he is asking top dollar for it. Now everyone's market is different, but in my area you can get just about any IH cub GT for less than $500 and they are usually in good shape too.

It's a tough time to try and make money by flipping equipment. So much is being put out there for killer deals because folks are hurting for bucks. Tough to compete with that.
Here in SW Washington I see a fair number of ads for Cubs of different flavors start out around the 500 -700 mark on CL. Usually after a couple of ads expire at that price, they settle in around 200 - 350 and then seem to sell. If you do it, let us know how it goes!

I had a 1405 one time and sold it for $175 and was happy to get that. In my opinion these are throwaway tractors. I believe they have a non-servicable belt driven transaxle. It looks like he is trying to get top dollar out of it.
