Default Got Some Goodies!!!

Got some goodies for the 100 last weekend from a couple buddies. Got a sleeve hitch and spring assist complete, almost all sand blasted and primed from Tim (Thanks Timmer!). A new column and VR bracket from Mike (Thanks Mike!). And last but not least picked up a set of IH hub caps!!! Their in pretty good shape, couple small dings and a little light pitting on a couple but over all not bad. They needed new paint, got a couple done today maybe I'll get to the other two tonight sometime.

Nice parts, seems like Mikey and Tim set you up well.I had one of them there brinly spring assist and it seemed to rub against the tranny and make noise, and no matter how much I tighten the bolts on the lift arm,the bracket would creep back toward the spring
If you are running a snow blower or a tiller, you will want an IH spring assist,BTDT

Thanks Jeff, I'm trying to decide if I want to put the hub caps on the 100 or on the 582. I really like the way they look on the red ones !!!

Well bud, you can always post a pic of them on each one and let us decide

I already am partial to 82 series, so I think they would look sweet on your 582,but they will definitely look great on any tractor you put them on

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
