Not a full restoration, but a quick paint job?
i just got a 122, and by all means, im not looking to do a full restoration, but maybe a quick paint job, and general clean up. i went over the tractor mechanically, and changed all the fluids, and fixed the clutch, thing runs very good, but looks horrible.......
just wondering what some of you guys have done out there. just wash it good, scuff with some scotch bright and maybe a wire wheel to the heavy stuff and then give it a quick spray? or should i wait till i have time to completely tear it down and do a nut and bolt restoration? it isnt going to be a show tractor, but i would like it to look better then what it does.......

If it were mine, I would use it through the winter find the weaknesses and come spring, give it a quickie paint job.
I will warn you though, quickie paint jobs somehow turn into full blown restos.  RAndy

ill have to take some better pictures cause it is pretty rusty on the yellow and some one definately brush painted the hood......
yeah i know what you mean, im not really looking to fully restore it, i would like to get another one for that...... but who knows..... i brought in a 1948 farmall super c into high school to get it running, and ended up fully restoring it.....
