Depends on the serial #, some were IH, some were CCC. Post your # and I'll check.

I know that they also make those PTO's with the small pulley, Zippy has one on his repowered Super.
Are those still on his site? I can't seem to find them listed.

Only one question remain...How much Amp the stator produced? Is it enough to keep the engine running, power the PTO and few light?

Default Replacement Engine

I've thought about a replacement engine in a CC but the question I've always had is, what about the front PTO?

Default PTO Replacement

Does anyone make a PTO replacement for the K301 mechanical PTO. Or will a later model PTO fit on the K301 without machine work? I'm really tired of adjusting/replacing the springs on mine. By the way, it's for a model 126.

I've had a lot of cubs and never had to mess with the PTO so if your constantly having to adjust it then something must be wrong.

A word of caution as the old saying goes you get what you pay for.
How are parts availability?
I really don't like buying things from people that hate me.
I ducked a bunch of Chinese bullets, and I don't want to buy any more of their junk than I absolutely have to.
It's your money do what you wish.

Here is a place making performance parts for the motor, and they do have a clutch hub adapter.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
