I'm getting pretty excited for Saturday, I'm heading to a track that I haven't been to in about 8yrs to race with some old friends. I spent last night getting all my gear ready and double checking that everything was still in working order, I also had some major dust removal to do since it's been about 4yrs since I've been racing. I'm running two classes, 2wd truck and 2wd buggy, if I remember to take the wife's camcorder I will take some video and post up.

I had a nitro boat for a while and it was fun but always having to drive to go run it kinda sucked.

I got 1st place in 2wd truck and 2nd in 2wd buggy, it was a blast to get back on the track. The next race is Dec 3rd and I'm planning to take my older son with me, he's 6 and this will be his first time at the track.

I plan to give my race buggy to my son on Saturday, it will be his first time racing and I wanted him to have a nice new body that's painted up in his favorite colors.

I took my son racing for the first time and we had a great time, by the end of the night he was able to put the battery in and put the body on all by himself. He really liked turn marshalling, I guess when you have endless energy you don't mind all the running around. He got 10 laps in each heat race and 11 laps in the main so he did improve a little bit as the night went on, for comparison the fastest guys were getting 27 -30 laps. For a 6yr old he did really good for it being his first time, over the years I've seen kids that were much older that were worse.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
