Oh and last but not least. Picked up some Tru Powers. All you guys on here posting pictures of yours sold me on them. Plus my property is a bit hilly and this tractor spins a bit in places, even with the added weight. My last tractor had Ag's and never spun. Looking forward to working with these guys!

Looking good. Chances are you will finish before I do. Work has gotten in my way. For my valve plate I added a standoff to set it out a little. Cleared the lever articulation better since that body is thinner. Word of caution. Where I placed the cylinder interferes with the battery. Going to raise my fender pan to clear.
The levers look good. I would have tapered to clear better except I was trying to look stock. Is the picture decieving? Levers look flat not 90deg.

Yeah, welding isn't complete yet. I'll mock it up on the tractor to get the right angles I want to prevent clearance issues (haha, "right" angles.) I'll mark them and finish welding on Monday.

I planned on putting a garden in and the weather here is finally going to be nice enough next week so I need to get this baby back into working shape ASAP!

Ran into a bit of a snag when mounting the hydraulic cylinder. I found a deal on a 1811 lift cylinder that I thought I could make work. Turns out since I did the cast rear conversion I have even less room than with the aluminum rear. Also, the xtreme 3 point lift arm connection point is a lot lower than the one on 782CC's machine. This is going to be a little more tricky. Anybody have any idea's on alternative lift cylinders? One with a total diameter around 2" would make it a little easier (but with the same capability as the 1811 cylinder.)

These are pics I got from Aaron at Xtreme. Guess he had the same issue and this is his solution.

Your not going to find a smaller diameter cylinder with the same force. Fluid pressure is psi, if you multiply the psi x cylinder area (sq in) you get the force output of the cylinder. Smaller dia gives smaller force. The only way to make the force up is with longer stroke and longer lever arm on the input of the 3point hitch.

Thanks Sam for the pictures of Aaron's machine. And thanks Bill on the fluid mechanics refresher.
I think I came up with a solution. I'm modifying the battery box so the battery is turned 90 degrees. This will allow me to notch out the battery box so that the cylinder is positioned somewhat like the way I have it in the prior post. I'll then weld extensions onto the cylinder lift so I can attach it to the 3 point. I'll then build a brace for the cylinder to attach to the frame. Should be plenty of room for the cylinder to fit in there.

I won't have the arms angled like in the picture. Just mocked up for now.

Also, some other fun improvements showed up today.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
