Thanks very much guys. It's definitely been a lesson on patience and what to not do the next time around.

Here is a before and after pic.

I appreciate it guys, I will have to admit that being on this site is what gave me the courage to tackle the job. I knew that if I came up against a problem, someone here would be able to help me out and that has been the case for every issue I have come up against. Thanks to all the great people here at OCC for helping me with this.

Another small update. Still waiting on my muffler, but I was able to get the tri ribs mounted and I couldn't let the rear wheels go unnoticed so I blinged them up a little with a stud/lug nut kit.

Why does the pic look like you have 4 of the lug nuts on backwards?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
