Your post in in 782cc's thread brought me back to your thread. I get that sometimes other things get in the way of our cub projects but please post some pictures when you get around to finishing the project. Good luck

From 782cc thread: (http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...9&postcount=33)

"Started this back in June 2013, But due to money and My new shop taking longer than expected we are getting closer to finishing it. Basically it's close to what you are trying to do but a little more in-depth."

Finished up the trimming on the 3pt. Had to cut down where the cylinder will extend and cut off the last two holes on the legs. Won't need them. Junt need to re-paint it and she is ready to put on. Still need to weld the bushing on the cylinder and mount the 12V valve.

Made my bracket for the valve today, and got her installed. Now I just need to pick up some more brake line I'm short around 3 sticks.
Just a note It's just an illusion the valve on the right is about 1 1/4" up from the shaft. So it will be fine.

I will be doing some hydraulic work this spring to mine. Am I correct that you are using 3/8" brake line with 37 degree JIC fittings, tube sleeves and nuts? And I also assume you are making single flares on the tubing with a flaring tool? I've been doing some reading around the web on hydraulics and this is what I have come up with after the reading and measuring the tubes on my tractor. Just making sure I'm on the right track. Your work looks great!

Just a thought, Won't you need two selector valves, one for each line? I think the way you have it will be on one side of your A & B work ports and won't give the return oil anywhere to go. You have to switch both lines for double acting work.

I'll let Rescue11 explain it best i can do is tell you it's T'd off before the valve. But he can explain it A lot better.

As for the rest I had to remake the bracket for the valve. Realized after i had it finished that the bolt was in the way of the tunnel cover. Dumb move. So rebuilt it and bolted it on the side.
should have my rims back and the cylinder by Friday, so we can finish fabing up the 3pt.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
