Many owners of grass killers do not realize just how dirty of an environment these tractors operate in. What with grass clippings, moisture, dirt, leaves and other assorted mung not to mention grease and oil present to hold them together without regular cleaning there is a big mess. Of course with some great places for critters to call home the result is possibly a breakdown.

Agree with PaulS. Especially went conditions are dry and dusty. Hit a bare spot in the yard and a lot of that dirt finds its way into the engine compartment sticking to everything it can. A real mess.

Glad you're doing it right by cleaning it up.

Todd

Why does this post say "Adult Image"? Is it because it's dirty?

Back in the saddle again today. It was low 50's today, so it seemed like the perfect day for pressure washing this little piggy.
You could have something there Sam. Don't say anything on my end...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
