Mowed with the 2264 today and I was just about done when it shredded to PTO to deck belt. Well it's supposed to rain later so I had to go to the backup 1641 to finish the mission. Job done, got a new belt at TSC and just as I was putting the belt on it started to pour.

Nothing but blue sky 5 hours north. Your TSC stocks a B89? I have been to 3 around here, no go. They don't even have a slot. I found a $10 deal on epay and ordered 4.

I use a 5/8"X90 / B87K/5L 900K on my tractor with the 324 deck, it's a bit tight when it's brand new. Deck carriage is mounted in the forward holes on the mule drive.

This was me the other day with my 1641, except i made it about 10 feet. Nobody local had a belt either so i had to hang my head in shame and use the lt1045. So today I pulled the deck off and used the 1641 to rip some trenches for my inground dog fence.

Hauled the carcass of the 1862 off to the scrap yard after removing what was worth salvaging.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
