Default 2 more NJ Cubs

Found these 2 at a yard sale. I got a 102 and a 122 with 3 decks and a snowplow, all for $225 and he delivered them. Both run well and get used from time to time. The pictures were taken the day they came home.

The picture of the 123 was taken just before I loaded it for it's trip home. The 102 came froma Naval Air Station in Pa. When I saw the boat seat I just had to have it. The 102 has a creeper and lights. I have an 1812 also, but no pics of it. The rest of my tractors are the wrong color to post here.

I'll get a picture this weekend and post it. It's partialy apart now and I hope to finish it soon. I got it from a friend, it came with a deck, IH weights, chains and a power angle plow. My buddy had been using it to mow and when the driveshaft came flying out he gave it to me. I had to drive to Rhode Island to get it, but free is for me.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
