Here in central PA we were forcast several days ago to get snow but today dawned with a bit of sunshine and partly cloudy skies although below freezing. By later this morning I will have a snow plow mounted on my 2084 and hopefully will have the snow blower on Eric's 2086.

I got about 2 or 3 inches in the Lower Hudson Valley. I was cutting grass on Monday so the deck is till on and the blade is buried in the shed. I think it will all melt by the end of the day today.

If you notice EricRs pics my 2084 is not sporting the blade. We found that my 2084 does not have the rear anchor plate needed to install the blade. We wanted to let my 451 that we repainted to cure so we installed EricRs 551 blower on my tractor and the blade on his 2086. Since we live only two doors apart we still have a choice as to what we want to use on the snow when we get it. Of course there is old 102P with a blade too.

EricR: Those are some bad looking hombres.
I've got snow blades for all the machines, including the old Sears Suburban...but we rarely get enough snow to plow. I guess that's why I've seen ONE blower on our local craigslist in over 5 years of looking. |

I am with you guys, I cant wait for snow
, both to play with the tractors, and to snowmobile. Last year we had only one storm that was worth anything. This year with the blower finally on the 1450, and the new to me power king loader, we are sure to get nothing .

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
