Actually I did. Cleaned the shop last night and blew everything out so there was dust on everything. Just can't seem to get in the groove with this one...
Kind of having drag a$$ on it. But at some point I will get out of first gear and slide down into second.

Todd,
Great pictures of your work on the J.I.Case! I know I owe you a call too!
I was able to get some seat time on my non Cub latest clean and paint project. A Massey-Ferguson 8 hp lawn tractor. I thought I had it done mid July then the gas tank took a dump and I also got a original different gas tank and support bracket installed a week ago. Kind of like you say, some of these other tractors just don't have the Cub features and bullet proof qualities. But was different doing research on Massey's and collecting new parts and meeting new friends too!
Your doing a good job bring the Case back!
Regards,
Chris

Hey Todd,

I miss seeing the little Case, you had any time to work on it lately? Just wanted to make sure I hadn't fallen out of the loop!

, oh you ain't missing nothing Jay. It's all piled up in the corner of the shed, waiting for some love and affection...
I looked at it the other day, and really there isn't a great deal left to do. Sandblast the frame, dash, hood, fenders, clean up the engine tins, little body work, prime and paint.
Tim (olds) would have it back together in a week, or less, but me? I'm thinking to get back on it this summer, get it done before starting something else...
Been spending to much time on the 56. Need to get my priorities straight I guess.

Thumbs up Another vote for the Case restoration!

Hey, nice going so far! It's also nice to see honest comparisons to our IH Cub Cadets. I like the case! My brother picked up a '66 Ford 100 that came with factory electric PTO, and the rare aluminum mowing deck.

Keep up the good deed on your "66 120 case!!

Experience leads to speed. Since I got out of school I've been working 5-6 days a week which comes to about 34,000hrs of paint and bodywork, if you put in that kinda time I'm sure you'd be fast to. Now the kid that's working for us will probably still be a moron in 34,000hrs.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
