Your 73 is so sweet Jay Really diggin the ag's!
Allen, looking great with the 122 bud! I think I may have a #2 cart coming Southtowns27, nice looking cubs! I worked on the 71 giving it a tune up and fine tuning snow thrower as I've got 6-12" of the white stuff tomorrow. I lost one of the springs on the thrower, went to hardware store and found similar springs that are a little stronger, no need for spring assist now as it lifts very nicely!! It was nice enough out today to give her a bath, first one since I've owned it! I bought the 71 as a restore project never thinking it would become my overall workhorse. Also got to degreasing rear end parts for the 124. Should have a vid of some snow throwing up tomorrow night! |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
