Thanks! I considered doing an upper for my 15, but any larger calibers are not as easy come by as 308., the only drawback is the AR 10 is a little heavy.

DX3 as soon as I saw the pics of the rock pit I knew what state that was without even looking at your stats. Grew up out that way. Still have lot's of family there and may be moving back now that Mama Squatch and I have recently retired.
And since you said the magic word (Henry). I guess I'll post a couple of pretty pics to offset all those mean, horrible black rifles. (Tongue planted firmly in cheek) My babies! Henry Big boy 44 mag, Henry Golden Boy 22lr, Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag 10.5" bull barrel, My father's Case knife. The Big Boy is sporting a brass Skinner peep sight I did a little trim and polish on. Golden Boy has a Marbles Bullseye sight. The Ruger was "my rifle" for about 30 years! I guess you can tell these old eyes don't do so well with the stock semi buckhorn sights! If you look close the Ruger is propped with my old Shrade "Uncle Henry" whittlin" knife! |

Those are some awesome guns, the 44 is my favorite but I had to put a pachmayr grip on mine. My hand thanks me every time. I sold my Ruger p89 today and replaced it with a 4" XPS 45.

Mine normally wears the Pach's as well. Just didn't look right when I was taking pics of cowboy "firearms" so I changed them out.
I also have a 3.3" XDS 45. Mine has the silver slide. Just got it and ran 300 rounds through it when it got recalled. When I got it back the trigger felt like gravel so it went back again. It's back now and fine. Was kinda miff'ed about sending it back the 2nd time so I kinda let it sit in the safe for a while. But been exercising it lately. Still a ways to go before it's really broken in. It really is a nice shooter for something that small in 45ACP. I also have a Ruger 22/45 lite that I love. No pics of these yet. |

I have to stay out of town for a while. I could have bought another cub but NO I walk in to the gun store to buy ammo and leave with another gun. I just bought one yesterday and now another today....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
