Merk,
She is looking very pretty for the dance. I really like the way that tractor looks. One of these days I'm gonna download it's pictures and try to figure it out. I've been meaning to ask you about your front tires. I see that style on farm tractors and they command a high price. So on one hand they must be good is there a down side to those? I don't know if you move any snow with her and that is a factor that I'm also looking at. And are your ags 2 ply? are all 6-12 ags 2ply? ole 147, I definitely like the "Cub Cadet" on the front end of your great looking tractor. |

I have 2 different styles of rib tires.
My 100 has this style My 149 and 86 has this style Both styles are a 4 ply tire. I use my 149 to push snow. Tractor rarely pushes sideways when moving snow. My 8.50 ags are a 2 ply tire. The one set of 10.50s I own are a 4 ply tire. My 149 runs 8.50s when pushing snow. I have no traction problems moving snow. |

Merk if you don't mind me asking, what brand are the ones on the 100. I really like the looks of those. I just picked up a set of narrow rims tonite on the way home from work. I want to get a set of tri-ribs on one of mine.
Thanks |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
