My son and I are getting serious with the rc racing, since my son is running my last gen cars it gave daddy the opportunity to upgrade. Here's some pics of my new cars that I just got done building, this weekend will be the first time I've raced them. The buggy is an rc10b6, I'm running a 17.5 motor for stock class. The body was painted by rigdeway bodies and he did a fantastic job. The truck is an sc5m and also has a 17.5 motor but it's boosted so I will likely be running in the modified class. I don't really care for fancy paint on the sc truck bodies so I went with something that looks like a race truck, all the decals were made here at the shop. I lost my best friend back in October and him and I did alot of RC racing together, 412 was the number he ran on his race bike so I'm running it in his memory.

Nice car and truck.

I finished my rock crawler and tried it out a little in the garage. The beadlock wheels I made work good.

I got out of RC's about 10 years ago when prices went nuts. My friend I used to run Traxxas 1/10 scale Slash's with called and told me to check out the Fly Sky FS-GT3G controller, it is made by the same company that builds the Spectrum Controllers. The Fly Sky comes with the controller and a receiver for $49.00, the Spectrum is close to $450.00 for about the same thing. I just got mine in the mail today and is a nice unit. It will control up to 10 different RC's (not at the same time) and receiver's are only $8.95 a piece.(they used to be $40.00 a piece) Check it out.

That's what I got for my son, so far it seems to work just as well as my $400 futaba.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
