Just got the CC sign up in the other garage. I like it. See what you think. The 108 and the 72 in this shot.

Installed the custom grill and the new foot pads. Not sure I like the yellow grill color. Removed the rear wheels to put the new brake pads on and clean up and paint the rear wheels. Installed the new fuse holder, finished up the light wiring. All that's left now is the decals. Will put them on in the morning and finish painting the rear wheels. Getting pretty close. Took it out for a run around the driveway, and the hydro is working fine. I need to go pull a deck and a mule drive out of the storage building, clean them up and maybe hit them with paint. Daughter and SIL are coming a couple days after Christmas (this year they are spending Christmas with his parents) so I expect to have this with a bow on it by the 27th.

more progress. Started working on the mower deck lift carriage and mule drive. Turns out the only WF mule drive I had was for a 44A/50A deck, with the tilted idler pulleys. So out came the heat wrench, and a couple minutes of Ox/Act and got the two pulley supports bent straight. Cleaned things up in the sand blaster and with a wire wheel, and a spot weld to fix a small crack and it's ready for primer.

New decals on the hood.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
