Had some 5/8 thrust washers in the shop and decided to modify the steering box. These are oil impregnated thrust washers that sandwich the needle roller. Put them on late last night so I'll get a chance to test this weekend!

Well this has been a long time coming for me. Been wanting to add Lights to both my 125 that i restored in 09, and my 127 project tractor that i will be building a loader and backhoe on. Here is a snap shot of them with the parts installed. Now for the wireing part of it...

Hey! haven't been around for a while, but I adjusted my snowblower to work on the 982 (found out why it wasn't lowering the entire way after my last snow event) After I adjusted it, I removed it, cleaned it and stored it. Then I lubed up the 982 and installed the tiller. Awaiting some dry weather to open up the garden.

My 1862 is on loan to buddy that recently bought a house. He's taking good care with a oil, filter, & air filter change. Glad it's getting some work.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
