Not to be picky, but I am.....
For it to be correct, the muffler is sticking out too far. You need to remove the extension pipe. The muffler should tuck further in. It is only supposed to have an elbow, and the muffler. http://www.cubcadet.com/equipment/AR...0-A/0098100004

Finally got to work on the 100. Installed the new narrow wheels and hood along with decals. I still need to finish up the fenders and get them installed.
I have not decided if I will put the weights back on, but if I do what is the official color, Yellow or White? Seems to me I have seen both.

The 100 is looking good. You just do not see them with narrow wheels to often. I think with the fenders it will look good. My first 70 I bought in the mid 70's Had the narrow tires and wheels and it had fenders and it looked fine. You have done a great job.

Looks great!! I also like the narrow wheels on the earlier cubs!
 I noticed you painted the front wheel retaining bolt and washer white... I think they were supposed to be zinc silver or yellow.. I have done them both ways.. Not trying to judge.. just food for thought!  Again I think it looks great!! Fenders will add to the looks also!! Keep up the good work!!

Looks great! Excellent job! I too like the narrow wheels on the early narrow frames. Once they larger fenders came around, the 8.50s looked better on the rear. In my opinion, anyway.
If you put the weights on and want them to be installed per the book, don't use carriage bolts like everyone else does. The weight instructions are written to use all-thread with nuts/washers on both ends. As for the color, I'm not 100% on this, but I think they are supposed to be yellow.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the comments and suggestions. I originally had the front retainers yellow, but I didn't 't like the look. I am thinking. that maybe zinc colored like the rear lug nuts might be the way to go.
